Job Summary

The Manager of Provider Engagement plays a critical role in the success of Point32Health’s provider network strategy. Reporting to the Director of Provider Engagement, the Manager of Provider Engagement leads a team of high performing, individual contributors responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the Point32Health provider network and oversees the development of performance and engagement plans between provider organizations and Point32Health.

The Manager, Provider Engagement is responsible for ensuring Senior/Provider Engagement Managers function with a high degree of professionalism and accountability to both represent the best of Point32Health to the Provider Network, and to represent the provider organizations within Point32Health. The Manager, Provider Engagement will provide guidance and direction to resolve complex healthcare operational and performance issues. This individual will work collaboratively with internal business partners to ensure clear points of contact/responsibility for research and resolution of operational issues identified by provider organizations. The Manager will work across the provider organizations to identify any trends or systematic issues and engage internal resources to develop strategies and solutions to advance the provider experience with Point32Health.

Responsibilities/Duties

Lead a team of high performing, individual contributors responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with the Point32Health provider network through successful issue resolution and proactive engagement

Oversee performance and engagement plans with provider organizations and Point32Health.

Responsible for identifying trends or systematic issues and collaboratively engaging with internal stakeholders to develop strategies to advance provider experience with Point32Health. Lead the resolution of escalated inquiries, root cause identification and formulation of corrective action plans

Demonstrate ability to manage thru influence as the position will rely on colleagues across the enterprise to work collaboratively to resolve provider organization issues and concerns.

Utilize analytic tools (e.g., Tableau) to review performance trends and identify drivers of performance and potential opportunities for improvement

Efficient and effective management of team resources to advance the Provider experience with Point32Health.

Regularly lead and participate in teams to resolve issues, modify policies, or implement strategic directions

Recruit, train and develop talent; provide coaching, feedback and direction to staff to support development

Other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications – what you need to perform the job

Certification and Licensure

Education

Required (minimum): Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Preferred: Master’s degree

Experience

Required (minimum): 5-7 years of experience in health plans, managed care, practice management, integrated delivery systems or health care analytics, with at least 2-3 of those years having experience in managing a team or department.

Preferred: 8-10 years of related work experience.

Working Conditions and Additional Requirements

Must be able to work under normal office conditions and work from home as required.

Work may require simultaneous use of a telephone/headset and PC/keyboard and sitting for extended durations.

May be required to work additional hours beyond standard work schedule.
