Physical Therapist - Outpatient Rehab
Shift: Full Time Days, M-F 8 hour shifts

About the Job:
The Physical Therapist functions under the general supervision of the Rehab Manager and/or Director of Rehabilitation Services.
The Physical Therapist assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of patients and provides physical therapy evaluations, modalities, and treatments in accordance with established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care.
The Physical Therapist accurately assesses patients’ needs; identifies and initiates appropriate physical therapy interventions; provides patient and family teaching; and works cooperatively with other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional physical therapy practice and interdisciplinary teamwork.
The Physical Therapist also assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of those patients being treated by Physical Therapist Assistants and may be assigned to orient staff and students.
Education / License / Certification:
Master's or Doctorate degree in physical therapy required
Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the State of Tennessee required
Current Basic Life Support/CPR Certification required
Experience / Skills:
One year of experience in the care of patients in an acute hospital, outpatient, or acute rehab setting is preferred
Good general health and stress coping ability is required
Must possess full mobility and the ability to participate in vigorous activity
