Job Description
An employer is seeking a Scrum Master for a complex software development project in the Cincinnati, OH area. This will be for a long-term contract opportunity and will require to be on site 2-3 days a week while also working cross functionally with team members in Poland and California. The Scrum Master will be joining a sub-team within the R&D portfolio to help lead the team thru Scrum ceremonies, lead quarterly planning and sprint planning events. They will be expected to coordinate tasks w/ product owners and tech leads as well as support project plan development, resource planning tools, risk Management and budget tools on the PM side of things. As a Scrum Master no coding will be needed but being able to speak the language with developers as well as the local product owner will be a major benefit as the overall goal of this project is to integrate these system changes into the new robotic surgery device that the medical device is creating.
This is a top 10 project for the medical device leader in 2025 and 2026 so tons of growth will be available inside the organization. The technical expertise needed for this project include Jira and Azure for the Scrum role and MS Project will be helpful on the Project Management side.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years as a Scrum Master Agile training and experience
3+ years of experience using Jira, Azure, or equivalent Agile tools (lucid, airtable)
2+ years of project management skills in a SW Development Environment
Demonstrated experience w/ Planning tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheet
BS Degree in Engineering, Software, Computer Science or Technology
Experience with Medical Device will be a major plus! Medical device
