Junior Service Designer

LMI is seeking a Junior Service Designer to support an exciting military health client engagement. This position will join a team of innovators, designers, and technologists to support the design, start-up, and management of an innovation cell for the military health client- an internal process, technology, and workforce accelerator program, where mission-enabling ideas are prototyped, tested, and scaled. As a Junior Service Designer, the selected candidate will assist in the design and implementation of user-centric solutions for the innovation cell's services and operations.

- Conduct research to uncover pain points and opportunities for innovation in service delivery.
- Develop journey maps, service blueprints, and personas based on research findings.
- Assist in ideation sessions and design workshops with stakeholders.
- Create prototypes and iterate designs based on feedback.
- Document and present findings, processes, and recommendations.
- Support change management and adoption activities related to service improvements.
- Ensure solutions align with user experience best practices and strategic objectives.
Minimum Requirements
3-10 years of service design experience.
Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction, or a related field.
Experience with user research and service design tools.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and/or Miro.
Preferred Requirements
Experience working on government or healthcare projects.
Industry leading certifications in human-centered design and service design methodologies.
Exposure to Agile or Lean project environments.
Target salary: $130,000 - 170,000. Disclaimer: The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation.
