Simply put, we take care of our advisors, so they can take care of their clients.Job Overview:The VP of Product Management will be responsible for defining the product strategy and vision for a wide range of products across LPL’s account opening and maintenance platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working at both a financial services organization as well as consulting/strategy firm where you led engagements focused on developing new product ideas or optimizing existing products. You will lead cross functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and launch plans for new and existing products, while also ensuring long term value creation for the business. Additionally, this individual will play a key role in shaping the overall direction of LPL’s product development efforts, including serving as the liaison between internal stakeholders and external partners. Responsibilities:Lead the product strategy and planning process for products and initiatives within LPL’s account lifecycle management platforms Develop detailed business cases for new products, and make recommendations to senior leadership regarding prioritization and resource allocation Partner with cross functional teams such as sales, marketing, operations, compliance, risk, finance, and technology to define requirements and ensure successful execution of product initiatives Work closely with product owners and agile delivery teams to plan and execute sprints and releases Conduct competitive research and analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions Gather feedback from advisors and end users to inform product roadmaps and help shape future product enhancements Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership on industry trends and emerging technologies related to financial services and wealth management Stay abreast of regulatory changes and evolving compliance considerations impacting financial services and wealth management, and incorporate implications into product strategy and planning What are we looking for?We want strong collaboratorswho can deliver a world-class client experience. We are looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced environment, are client-focused, team oriented, and are able to execute in a way that encourages creativity and continuous improvement.Requirements:Bachelor's degree requiredSignificant experience (typically 7+ years) in financial services or wealth management, preferably within account management, custodial or client onboarding space Experience working in a large, highly matrixed organization with exposure to global organizations Strong understanding of financial markets, investments, and financial planning concepts Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects and navigating ambiguous situations Demonstrated ability to influence and drive results through others Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization Ability to travel occasionally (
