This role is responsible for leading major strategic projects involving new products, features, integrations and customizations, coordinating across internal teams and external customers. This is a Principal Technical Program Mgr (P-TPM – L7) to lead cutting-edge projects in enterprise integration, disruption-management, delivery and pickup workflow, risk prediction and real-time planning operations. It involves working with Product Managers and Software Engineering leaders within Amazon and corresponding external POCs, to ensure design, launch and success of customer-facing features. You will work with executive leaders, engineering, science and operations stakeholders to coordinate product launches, process improvement, generate ideas, validate entitlement and then direct a path to launch. You will work alongside the sales-team, to understand unique large-customer requirements, provide guidance on the our solution set and work creatively to design bespoke solutions as needed. You will define architecture, integration strategy, and work across products to drive execution. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. Lead agile engineering and teams to coordinate, prioritize and deliver to a roadmap Understand service inter-dependencies and lead cross-functional teams towards integrate solutions Clarify, prioritize and drive project commitments as well as establish and maintain clear chains of accountability Articulate program goals, desired outcomes, risks/issues and mitigation plan clearly. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
