You will be responsible for obtaining the pack list for orders and using an RF scan gun to complete the packing order. Once all items are selected from the warehouse, you will bring your cart full of products to the shipping/packing area to complete the package for shipment. You will oversee the entire process, including moving products via pallet jack, shipping and receiving, and material handling.
Responsibilities- Obtain and review pack lists for orders.
- Use an RF scan gun to locate and pick items in the warehouse.
- Transport picked items to the shipping/packing area.
- Complete packaging for shipment.
- Oversee the entire shipping and receiving process.
- Operate pallet jacks to move products.
- 6 months of receiving experience.
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Experience with RF scanners.
- Picking and packing skills.
- 6 months of inventory experience (nice to have).
- High school diploma or GED.

Work EnvironmentYou will work in a temperature-controlled distribution center/warehouse. The facility is new and employs 70 people across all shifts, with plans to increase to 90. Available shifts are 1st shift (6am-2:30pm) and 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) Monday through Friday, with a $2 shift premium for the 2nd shift. Saturday work is voluntary. The company aims to return to standard 8-hour shifts as the facility stabilizes.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caledonia, Michigan.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
