Summary of role
We are seeking a Data Analyst for Enterprise Master Data this role will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between master data management, business needs and technology solutions. This role involves gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements and maintaining process and data flow maps for several workflows. The Data Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders from various departments, including sales, operations, logistics, and IT, to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of enterprise data flows. They will need to understand order data, data analysis, system data flows and data quality management as well as an understanding of product metrics.
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions
Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business process flows and requirements for master data management.
- Become the SME for data flowing through the enterprise including MDM, master data governance and understanding our data pipelines.
- Analyze business processes and workflows to identify gaps and areas for improvement within the systems.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for the IT development teams.
System Design & Documentation:
- Develop comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), use cases, process flows, data analytics and user stories.
- Assist in the design and configuration of enterprise data flows.
- Ensure that the data flows accommodate the unique aspects of radio pharmaceutical products, such as regulatory compliance, shelf life, handling requirements, account creation, and invoicing.
Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary liaison between business units and the IT team/platform owner, ensuring clear communication and understanding of requirements.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops to gather input, validate requirements, and obtain stakeholder buy-in.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders and leadership on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Identify opportunities to standardize recurring processes like customer onboarding, setting up central ordering accounts and monthly data reconciliation.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
- Where possible, develop and execute test plans to ensure the data flows meet business requirements and functions as expected.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
- Identify and document defects, and work with the IT team/platform owner to resolve issues in a timely manner.
Training & Support:
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users to ensure they are proficient in using and understanding the data flows.
- Provide ongoing support to users/customer experience team, troubleshooting issues and offering solutions to optimize system performance.
- Monitor the end-to-end data flows to ensure it continues to meet business needs, proposing enhancements as required.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data and radiopharmaceuticals.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and work with stakeholders to implement changes.
- Contribute to the development of strategies to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of the OMS.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Systems, or a related field OR 7+ years of experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as a data analyst and/or business analyst, preferably in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or logistics industries.
- Experience with commercial order management systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with MDM and data pipelines is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Knowledge of radio pharmaceutical products and industry regulations is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in using business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., process mapping, requirements management software).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
