Our client is a dynamic public relations firm in NYC known for its creativity, collaboration, and results-driven approach. Our client is seeking an energetic and professional Receptionist to serve as the face of their busy office.

Salary/Hourly Rate:

$22/hr - $25/hr

Position Overview:

The Receptionist will be instrumental in ensuring smooth front-desk operations, managing inquiries, and supporting administrative needs. This Receptionist role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment and has a passion for exceptional client service.

Responsibilities of the Receptionist:

  • Serve as the first point of contact, greeting clients, visitors, and staff with a polished and welcoming demeanor as the Receptionist. Answer and direct phone calls, manage emails, and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing reception area that reflects the firm's brand.
  • Schedule and coordinate meeting rooms for internal and client-facing events.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as data entry, document preparation, and mail distribution.
  • Support the planning and execution of special events, including PR campaigns and office gatherings.
  • Monitor and manage office supplies to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Be a proactive receptionist who anticipates and addresses office needs as they arise.


Qualifications for the Receptionist:

  • At least 1 - 2 years of experience as a Receptionist or in a similar client-facing administrative role.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel) and familiarity with tools such as Zoom or Teams.
  • A polished and professional appearance, reflecting the firm's high standards.
  • A proactive and resourceful mindset with a keen attention to detail.


Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Additional coursework or certifications in office management or administration are a plus.
