Receptionist - Onsite in Torrance, CA
Pay: $20-$24/hour (depending on experience)
Join our team in a beautiful, upscale office in Torrance as a Receptionist, where you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and staff, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. Bilingual in Spanish is a must.
- Greet visitors, answer calls, and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Support the Executive Assistant and other departments with administrative duties.
- Manage office security by adhering to safety procedures and agency policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
- Maintain the reception area during client visits, validate parking, and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
- Review, correct, and process clinicians' paperwork while managing treatment room calendars and conducting PHI checks.
- Provide translation/interpretation services as needed and assist with client referrals.
- Receive and distribute mail and packages, maintain office supplies, and assist with general office upkeep.
- Support other departments with tasks such as letter-writing, data tracking, creating reports, and special projects.
- Prepare meeting and training rooms, maintain the breakroom, and provide administrative coverage when necessary.
- Education/Experience: BA in psychology, social work, or a related field-or equivalent experience (AA degree + 2 years relevant work, or 4 years in a mental health agency).
- Skills: Strong written/verbal communication, organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
- Language: Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
- Preferred Knowledge: Familiarity with DMH systems, Medi-Cal billing, Microsoft Suite, and office equipment.
