LHH has partnered with a company in the Kansas City metro area to streamline financial operations, as an Accounting Specialist. This is a Contract to Hire role and fully onsite in the Johnson County area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Match, code, and enter payable invoices.

  • Enter and reconcile accounts receivable payments.

  • Research and resolve accounts payable or receivable issues with vendors or customers.

  • Perform general ledger postings and month-end reconciliations.

  • Prepare accruals and amortizations.

  • Manage all supplies.

  • Assist in human resources and payroll processing.

  • Help manage the employee safety program.

  • Maintain a proper workplace code of conduct.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of exper4inece in accounting or a related field

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy

  • Open to Fully onsite

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

Pay: $24 - $26/hr
