Day-to-Day as Accounting Supervisor

• Manage 2 direct reports, including coaching, evaluations, and administrative requests.
• Manage the month-end close fluently while overseeing various aspects of the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close.
• Oversee all accounting department processes, including, but not limited to: A/P, A/R, and job costing.
• Prepare accurate and timely weekly payroll processing within tax regulations.
• Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, continuously seeking ways to make improvements.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards.
• Develop and implement new SOPs to improve departmental efficiency.

What You Bring as Accounting Supervisor

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Proven track record of strong team leadership and people management skills, including training and performance management.
• Strong proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, with some knowledge of Aspire, MS Excel, and Google Sheets a plus.
• Knowledge of AIA (construction) billing processes a plus.
• Experience with payroll processing and understanding of payroll tax regulations.
• High attention to detail, integrity, and commitment to operational excellence.
• Willingness to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV.
