Job Description
- Supervise and guide the Mutual Fund Administration team, ensuring smooth daily operations and prioritization of tasks.
- Ensure that fund accounting strategies, policies, and procedures are clearly understood and adhered to by the entire team.
- Review and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of monthly and quarterly financial statements, Board of Trustee materials, budgets, and marketing materials created by junior staff.
- Oversee the preparation of annual reports, prospectuses, and other regulatory filings.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external fund administration agents.
- Handle customer service inquiries and ensure their timely and satisfactory resolution.
- Stay updated on industry and market changes, informing senior staff about any impacts on policies or procedures.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to senior staff.
- Mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a strong team environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 5-7 years of accounting experience in financial services or public accounting.
- Strong understanding of fund administration and accounting processes.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Ability to lead and build a cohesive, high-performing team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of management.
- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and analytical abilities.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Access, and Word.
