Reports To: Building Principal and Assistant Principals, unless otherwise noted
Work Schedule: 7.5 hours per day, Monday through Friday, 45 weeks per year
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain referrals including distributing to Administrators; inputting into computer, etc.
- Process all discipline paperwork accordingly for but not limited to expulsions; case conferences; and behavior assessments
- Ensure the accuracy of data for student disciplinary matters in various computer systems
- Issue student callouts for Administrators
- Prepare student reports Administrators for but not limited to seclusion and restraint; CIDS, etc.
- Communicate missed Wolf Packs to students, as needed
- Manage office for Assistant Principals including telephone support; managing calendars; etc.
- Update and maintain discipline records and for State reporting
- Assist with graduation, as needed
- Manage lockers including updating combinations and assigning lockers
- Assist in operating the security system during the school day
- Assist other building secretaries, as needed
- Any other duties assigned by the Principal or Assistant Principal
- Proficiency in typing, filing, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher)
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office equipment and machines
- Must be able to communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty ,and administration
- Must be dependable and trustworthy as much of the assigned work is confidential
- Previous experience with Power Schools preferred
- High school diploma or GED
Payment Type: $13.52 per hour
Benefits: Per MCESP contract
