Job Description

  • Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure the project stays on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, laborers, and on-site staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules, ensuring milestones are met and adjusting timelines as needed.
  • Enforce safety standards and protocols, conduct regular site inspections, and address hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee the quality of workmanship and materials, ensuring compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the field team, project manager, and client, ensuring consistent and clear updates.
  • Manage material deliveries, inventory, and storage to avoid delays and maintain a clean, organized site.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities, inspections, progress reports, and incident logs.
  • Potential to travel to surrounding states of Georgia (including Alabama)

The Successful Applicant

  • 10+ years as a superintendent within commercial construction
  • Proven track record managing ground-up hotel or multifamily projects (projects range from $15MM to $35MM)
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining schedules, coordinating logistics, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, project managers, and field teams.
  • Familiar with construction management software, scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera), and blueprint/specification interpretation.
  • Professional demeanor and dedication to delivering high-quality projects that meet client expectations and maintain strong relationships.
