We are seeking an Office Assistant to join our team in an AS9100 Certified Machine Shop. You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. This position requires a very detailed and organinzed person. All paperwork is done to AS9100 standards. The hours are 8:00 to 4:30, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities:
Answer inbound telephone calls
Greet and assist onsite guests
Enter data into Quickbooks and Access database
Entering Purchase Orders from customers and creating job folders
Creating Job Travelers that define the manufacturing process
Requesting quotes and creating purchase orders for outside processing
Tracking outside processing jobs
Receiving parts from outside processors and verifying certifications match customer specifications
Packaging and shipping jobs to vendors and customers
Closing jobs and documenting any products for inventory
Controlling blueprints, material and outside processing certifications in the databases
Tracking on time delivery and quality for Micro-Tec and vendors
Assisting the Quality Department with customer and vendor surveys
Compiling job history for future quotes
Perform all other office tasks as needed

Qualifications:
Previous experience in office administration and computer data entry
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Strong organizational skills
**Experience in a manufacturing atmosphere is beneficial and preferred but not mandatory**
