FedEx Assistant BC/Delivery Manager

R2 Fusion, Inc., an approved FedEx contractor is seeking a full-time Assistant BC/Assistant Manager in Mesquite. This role will assist in overseeing pick-up and delivery operations for the Plano area. This role involves ensuring delivery integrity, enforcing safety guidelines, and supporting a team of 25+ Drivers.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily route assignments to ensure excellent customer service
• Ensure Drivers perform vehicle inspections before departure
• Assist in checks/balances on deliveries/pick-ups
• Operate a Commercial Vehicle safely and in compliance with traffic laws
• Manage end-of-day check-in process, safety, and equipment issues
• Assist in route planning, scheduling, reporting, and training

Other Requirements:

• Commercial driving experience within the last 2 years
• Must have 1-2 years' experience in a leadership role
• Experience with GroundCloud and DRO
• Professional work ethic with strong communication skills
• Current DOT/MEC Card
• Strong understanding of FedEx delivery codes
• Must pass background and drug screening
