We are seeking a Production Lead to join our team! You will oversee the activities of a team of production workers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Leadership and Team Building:

   • Foster a positive work environment by inspiring and mentoring production workers.
   • Provide on-the-job training to enhance skills and improve team performance.

2. Production Coordination:

   • Oversee and coordinate daily activities to meet or exceed production goals.
   • Maintain a floor presence to address challenges and ensure smooth workflow.

3. Hands-On Contribution:

   • Actively participate in assembly and production processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

4. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Monitor and address production equipment performance to prevent delays.

5. Quality Control:

   • Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to maintain standards.

6. Safety and Compliance:

   • Implement safety measures and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.

7. Problem-Solving:

   • Use root cause analysis to address recurring issues and implement sustainable solutions.

8. Collaboration and Process Improvement:

   • Work with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering teams to optimize production processes.
   • Identify and execute opportunities for workflow enhancements and waste reduction.

9. Performance Tracking:

   • Monitor production performance and provide reports on efficiency, output, and improvement areas.

10. Scheduling and Planning:

    • Adjust work schedules to meet production targets while maintaining output.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 3-5 years in production, including leadership roles. Hands-on experience with assembly, epoxy bonding, grinders, and drill presses is preferred.
• Skills:
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of quality control and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and continuous improvement methodologies.
