Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and mentor housekeeping staff.
Monitor performance, providing constructive feedback, promotions, or disciplinary actions as needed.
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement. - Plan and manage employee schedules based on hotel occupancy levels to maximize efficiency.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to Hilton standards.
Maintain inventory levels, ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are available.
Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Front Desk, Engineering) for seamless operations. - Guarantee compliance with Hilton brand standards, OSHA regulations, and local health and safety protocols.
Conduct routine inspections and address maintenance or pest control concerns promptly.
Maintain tracking logs for training, cleanliness standards, and safety protocols. - Address and resolve guest complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Ensure rooms and public areas consistently exceed guest expectations.
Implement new strategies to elevate guest satisfaction metrics.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in hospitality, with 3+ years in a housekeeping management role.
- Strong understanding of cleanliness and operational standards in luxury accommodations.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, hotel management systems) and familiarity with inventory management.
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks as needed, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
