Housekeeping / Laundry Assistant Job at The Gardens at York Terrace in Pottsvill

The Gardens at York Terrace is seeking a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join in our skilled nursing facility in Pottsville, PA!

The Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant will perform a variety of light cleaning and organizing duties.

Shift: Full time, 5am to 1pm

Pay rate: $14.50/hour

Responsibilities:

• Follows Housekeeping procedures
• Place soiled linen (facility or resident's personal linen) in the washing machine
• Folds or hangs resident personal linen transports and distributes resident personal linen to resident's room. Hangs clothes in the closet and places clothes in drawers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
• Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment
• Must be over 18 to apply
