Job Details
Responsibilities: Work with internal team, outside counsel, family and clients to create estate plans, including drafting wills, trusts, durable power of attorney, and other estate planning documents. Review and summarize trust and key estate planning documents. Advise on and implement estate tax minimization strategies for high-net-worth individuals and families. Manage the administration of estates and trusts, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and client wishes. Negotiate, prepare and finalize business transactions, including the formation of LLCs, corporations, and partnerships, and preparation of associated documentation. Manage estate admin process including working with counsel on probate matters, prep of 706, etc. Advise clients on gifting strategies and rules. Stay updated on changes in estate planning laws and regulations. Implement and manage estate planning software to assist in estate planning.
Qualifications: 7-10 years of experience in estate planning, trust administration, and/or estate administration Strong knowledge of estate tax laws and strategies for tax minimization. Ability to provide excellent client service and manage client relationships with professionalism.
