SUMMARY The New York Liberty are continuing to build an organization that is passionate about redefining women's sports while furthering the growth of the WNBA and our franchise. The Manager, Partnership Marketing will manage and grow a portfolio of partner accounts. The ideal candidate is passionate about women's sports and cares about the details and perfecting their craft. This candidate is also is a sponge when it comes to learning more about activation best practices and their partners' business and brand marketing efforts. This position reports directly to the Head of Strategy & Partnership Marketing. WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Responsible for the management, maintenance, renewal, and growth of partner accounts, which includes the implementation of partnership assets, the creation and activation of promotions, oversight of hospitality packages, community programs, media, signage and more.
  • Develop and implement new and creative marketing and activation strategies.
  • Improve and renew partner relationships by exceeding expectations of all contractual deliverables, and identifying and successfully pursuing opportunities to drive incremental value.
  • Present ideas and opportunities to help grow the business of each partner by keeping current with goals, objectives and the competitive corporate landscape in the market regionally, nationally, and globally.
  • Partner with other departments on sponsored programs which include but are not limited to Marketing, Community Relations, Ticketing, and Game Presentation.
  • Attend all New York Liberty home games and other select team events to host sponsors and lead the execution of in-arena promotions.
  • Stay up to date with market trends and provide recommendations to department and applicable clients to ensure the New York Liberty are striving for continued success and maintaining a forward-thinking perspective.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 2-4 years of partnership account management experience required; experience within the sports industry preferred.
  • Proven record of hitting goals/budgets.
  • Knowledge of sponsorship measurement tools and processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills; proficiency with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM highly preferred.

  • Possess the schedule flexibility to attend New York Liberty home games at Barclays Center and additional events as needed. This position will involve working outside of standard business hours to accommodate business needs.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS May be required to travel on rare occasions (< 5% travel); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay for one or more nights. SALARY RANGE $70,000 - $80,000 WORK ENVIRONMENT Works primarily in an office environment but will be expected to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
