Patent Prosecution Attorney

An AmLaw Top 200 firm with 280+ attorneys across 18 offices is seeking a Mid-Level IP Patent Prosecution Associate to join its dynamic Intellectual Property Practice Group. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a highly respected team that supports a wide range of clients, from entrepreneurs to Fortune 500 companies, in protecting and leveraging their intellectual property.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Handling patent prosecution matters, including patent searches, analysis, drafting, and filing applications.
2. Managing patent portfolios across diverse industries and technologies.
3. Advising on mechanical, biomedical, and medical device-related patents.
4. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide strategic IP guidance.

Qualifications:

1. JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
2. Licensed to practice before the USPTO.
3. Minimum of 3 years of patent prosecution experience.
4. Experience in mechanical, biomedical, or medical devices is a plus.
5. Litigation experience is appreciated but not required.
