Job Summary:
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your primary duties will include receiving, storing and distributing products, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Receiving and Inspecting Shipments:** Accept incoming shipments and verify their contents against purchase orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- **Inventory Management:** Organize and store products in designated areas, maintain accurate inventory records, and assist with regular stock counts.
- **Order Fulfillment:** Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping, ensuring items are correctly labeled and packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- **Material Handling:** Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move products around the warehouse as needed.
- **Quality Control:** Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet company standards before they are shipped to customers.
- **Warehouse Organization:** Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards by routinely sweeping, organizing inventory, and following safety protocols.
- **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with team members and other departments to meet production goals and deadlines.
- **Reporting Issues:** Communicate any discrepancies, damages, or equipment malfunctions to management promptly.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in warehouse operations or logistics preferred but not necessary.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus; certification may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math and computer skills for inventory management and order processing.
- Strong physical stamina; ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
