Salary: $22 - $24 Hourly, DOE

Basic Functions:The Warehouse Associate is an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. We prize safety, tempo, and accuracy above all else, so we require a Warehouse Associate who can pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely and double-check his or her work before completing a task. Possesses a demonstrated record of accomplishment working as a self-starter.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare merchandise to be staged for daily load out.
  • Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents.
  • Perform cycle counts as directed and locate lost inventory.
  • Identify damaged, lost, or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately.
  • Treat merchandise with care and concern at-all-times.
  • Train and support new employees as they are on-boarded.
  • Receives material coming from vendors, customers, or other locations accurately and promptly.
  • Examine incoming materials and reject damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.
  • Accurately place inventory in its designated location in the facility in an orderly manner.
  • Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, rolls, or other containers.
  • Assembles and fills orders to be loaded out.
  • Review all orders to determine if they were picked correctly.
  • Ensure facility is kept clean, and inventory is kept orderly.
  • Keep a watchful eye out for and protect the safety of any and all company personnel when in the facility.
  • Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list.
  • Other relevant tasks as directed.
  • Document their DILO (Day in Life) for their positions.
  • Crosstrain others on their DILO.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED preferred.
  • Must have a valid Washington State drivers license.
  • Must provide a clean DMV driver abstract.
  • Previous experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.

Core Competencies:

  • Be able to identify product by size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Solid reading skills must be able to read orders/match orders on shipping tickets to items picked.
  • Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
  • Ability to understand and execute instructions.
  • General understanding of the facility and footprint.
  • Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices.
  • Operate Forklift and Electric Pallet Jack. (Forklift Certified)

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 50lbs unassisted
  • Perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, standing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position
  • Ability to work set shift hours, may include overtime and weekends, as needed

Working Conditions:

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to a warehouse environment and moving vehicles. The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to noisy.
  • Physical/Sensory Requirements:Ability to exert 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The employee is often required to use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
