WHO YOU ARE:
Seeking an IT professional enthusiastic about promoting Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint technologies and skilled in helping customers understand, customize, and deploy solutions to meet their current and future business needs. This position requires extensive knowledge of the capabilities, use, and implementation of the products and technologies available in Microsoft 365. Must communicate in a professional, customer-focused manner and be able to discuss complex technical issues to audiences of varying technical skill and ability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
The Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint Admin (Systems Administrator IV) performs highly complex (senior-level) systems administration work. Work involves coordinating the upkeep, configuration, and reliable operation of systems. Installs and upgrades computer components and system software. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Must have a secure, dedicated workspace with Internet service, ability to maintain a reliable consistent work schedule and be available for weekly meetings and group collaboration via Microsoft Teams and other applications during regular business hours.
YOU WILL BE TRUSTED TO:
Implement Security Measures for Microsoft 365 application, third-party applications, and workstations running Windows Operating Systems and mobile devices both Android and iPhones. Serve as a Server Operations security systems administrator working in coordination with applications admins, endpoint admins, and the Cybersecurity team, implementing and maintaining security measures across the organization's IT systems to include data loss prevention, intrusion detection and remediation, antivirus software, and encryption tools to protect against cyber threats such as malware, viruses, hacking attempts, and data breaches. Install, control, and maintain security systems by way of software patches, and anti-virus software and security policy. Create security requirements, design, and implement technical policies, monitor and report on workstations security posture. Run security audits to identify policy recommendations, provide training and guidance to colleagues on security strategies and policies. Audit user access and activities from log files, and handle account exceptions as well as reconcile risky users. Perform security incident responses to malware and data breaches for recovery and prevention. Continue with production in the event of a cyber breach. Administer to Microsoft 365 using the admin center to create and manage sites, designate site admins, manage sharing settings, and manage Microsoft 365 groups, including creating, deleting, and restoring groups, and changing group owners. Leverage TWC’s existing investment in Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoints to develop, deploy, and maintain customized and standard solutions to solve customer issues and meet business needs. Troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint technical issues experienced by customers. Troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), Microsoft Intune, and Workstation technical issues. Stay up to date from a security perspective on technologies such as Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft 365 Applications and Intune MDM. Ensure supervisor and Change Approval Board are informed of all upcoming changes to Microsoft 365 Applications products and services. Work on multiple concurrent projects/tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. May be required to work outside normal office hours and days when needed to provide support. Perform additional duties as assigned and required to maintain operations. YOU ARE A GREAT FIT WITH:
Experience and training in designing, developing, implementing, and supporting solutions using Microsoft 365 Applications and Endpoint technologies to include: Entra ID, Intune MDM, Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, Purview, and Defender for Endpoints. Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) Office 365 Certification. Skill in solving problems; troubleshoot, diagnose, isolate, resolve and document. Strong written and verbal communication skills; clearly and accurately document relevant issues and discuss issues with audiences of varying technical skill and ability. YOU QUALIFY WITH: - Two years of experience in systems administration work. - Relevant academic credits may be applied toward experience qualifications for this position.
