The Business Solutions Architect is responsible for designing and implementing technology solutions that align with the strategic objectives of the organization. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers to create and deliver integrated solutions that optimize business processes and improve operational efficiency. The Business Solution Architect ensures that technology initiatives meet both current and future business requirements and are scalable, secure, and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Architecture:
Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals, requirements, and challenges. Design comprehensive business and technology solutions that align with organizational objectives. Develop detailed architecture blueprints and solution specifications, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Lead efforts in prototyping, proof-of-concept, and solution validation with stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management:
Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, IT, and technical teams. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate architectural decisions and solution designs. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.
Technical Leadership:
Support development and optimization of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data integration. Guide teams in effective database management and optimization using SQL. Work with ERP and CRM data, ensuring proper data flow, integration, and accessibility for business intelligence and reporting needs.
Data and Analytics:
Design and implement data integration solutions, leveraging ETL processes. Ensure data is properly extracted, transformed, and loaded into the necessary systems for analysis. Utilize tools like Power BI to deliver business insights and create dashboards and reports for stakeholders. Lead data-driven decision-making processes by integrating advanced analytics with business processes. Develop custom scripts and automation processes using Python to support various business and operational tasks. Familiarity with ERP and CRM data structures to ensure accurate reporting and integration into data pipelines.
ERP and CRM Data Management:
Familiar with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle ERP, Oracle EBS, Omega) and their data models. Understand and manage CRM data for customer relationship management, ensuring it is integrated effectively into broader business intelligence initiatives. Ensure smooth data flow between ERP and CRM systems to support various business functions like finance, supply chain, and customer service.
Continuous Improvement:
Continuously assess and recommend improvements to existing systems and processes to enhance efficiency and performance. Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in technology to propose strategic initiatives. Drive standardization and reuse of architectural patterns and frameworks across the enterprise.
Skills and Qualifications: Technical Skills:
Familiar in software architecture patterns and technologies such as microservices, API management, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud). Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and application development. Strong expertise in SQL for database management, performance optimization, and complex queries. Familiarity with ERP systems data structures and CRM data models. Proficiency in Power BI for developing visual reports and business intelligence dashboards. Experience with ETL tools and processes to manage data transformation and integration across systems. Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
