Rio Grande Credit Union has created a new opportunity for an experienced human resources leader to become the next Vice President of Human Resources!
Reporting to the President/Chief Executive Officer, this individual will be a strategic partner in managing divisional areas, focusing on talent management, employee relations, policy and procedures, performance management, and employment law. As the Credit Union continues its growth momentum, the Vice President will partner with senior leadership to align human resources goals that support the strategic objectives to ensure the workforce is optimized for business success.
The incoming leader will act as a trusted advisor on employee-related matters and drive initiatives to increase employee retention and professional development, including onboarding and career pathing.
Minimum Requirements: A Bachelor’s degree, MBA, or MA/MS in human resources or related field is required. At least seven years of HR experience as a people leader, with a minimum of five years working with senior leadership, is needed. SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification is preferred.
