Overview
LMI is seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Power Platform Developer to lead application development for senior leadership within an Army program management office in Fort Belvoir, VA. The developer will work closely with business teams to understand their requirements, provide design recommendations, and work with business teams to implement automated processes and workflows. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform suite
Develop and maintain applications using Power Apps Automate workflows and business processes using Microsoft Power Automate Create data visualization and reporting solutions using Power BI Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions Create scalable, efficient, and secure solutions to meet customer's business objectives Integrate Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft services and third-party applications Provide technical support, documentation, and training Stay up to date with the latest features and updates in Power Platform
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Active DoD Secret Clearance 5+ years development in Microsoft technologies (3+ years Power Platform) Proficient Power Platform development experience (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI) Proficient in solution architecture and design principles Proficient at Power BI languages (Power Query, M, DAX, SQL, R) Proficient in integration technologies, data connectors, APIs, and protocols Ability to translate business requirements and design effective solutions Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications: 2+ years of experience supporting DoD acquisition programs with a basic understanding of the acquisition and budgetary processes Certification in Agile or ability to obtain within 3-4 months (e.g. may include PMP-ACP, ICP, APMG, ACI, CSM, and PSM SAFe) and understanding of the software development process.
