The successful candidate will be an essential member of our service group, providing technical support to both internal and external customers of NOV. Responsibilities include determining operating performance metrics and identifying areas for improvement through equipment tuning, maintenance, and automation usage. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical guidance to field personnel within the Service group. Provide onshore support to our Customers and Service Department relating to products and services. Ensure data in tracking system is accurate and up to date. Interface with Customers and internally with the Sales, Engineering, Workshop and Rentals Departments. Ensure job documentation is processed in a timely manner and ensure prompt and satisfactory job closure. Analyze drilling data to assess performance, improve equipment tuning, and identify automation improvements. Attend customer planning sessions to set KPIs, create performance reports using data visualization, and recommend actions based on analytics. Identify anomalies, implement new analysis methods, and suggest Performance Center improvements. Create detailed Performance Reports utilizing data visualization tools and provide analysis on current drilling and equipment operation metrics. Provide quality service by following organization standards. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Perform all other duties as assigned. FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES Review and validate data received from the customer’s drilling automation systems. Drive action recommendations based on analytics and communicate to management. Perform data profiling to identify and understand anomalies. Implement new data analysis methodologies. Identify and communicate opportunities for Performance Center improvement based on data analysis and customer feedback. Assist the Performance Center teams in providing insight for troubleshooting, utilization of automated systems and recommendations for data technology improvements. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years’ experience in a related field desired. Skilled with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Grafana). Strong knowledge of Drilling Fundamentals and Equipment. Experience with Drilling Controls (Amphion, Cyberbase) preferred. Proficient in Automation Systems (NOVOS, MMC). Data analysis skills, including Excel and SQL/programming. Experience creating reports, dashboards, and KPIs. JOB REQUIREMENTS Ability to pass a drug screen & background check. Must be able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines.
