AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services. The Application migration service team builds advanced Migration solutions for any application or database, from any source (physical, virtual, or cloud), enabling seamless transitions to AWS with near-zero downtime and ensuring 100% data integrity. We are seeking passionate software developers to join the Application migration service team and tackle a unique set of challenges in a space full of exciting opportunities. In this role, you will be involved in the complete lifecycle of AWS services—from gathering requirements and developing software to full product ownership. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for technology, particularly distributed systems and scalability, along with hands-on experience in cloud computing. Experience with low-level service-side development on Linux and Windows - C++, Java, and Python. Experience working in various tech stacks, collaborating with different teams and stakeholders to achieve shared goals. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience - 3+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience - 3+ years of building production software experience - 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
