VDC Program Manager Pay Range:

$34 - $44 per hour

We take into consideration a number of factors when preparing a compensation package for successful candidates, such as market location, experience, skills, and education. The Superior Group is looking for a highly-motivated and organized BIM/VDC Lead to help drive our electrical virtual design and construction projects forward. This position will be responsible for preparing 3D models of electrical systems within data center buildings and liaising with the field construction team to ensure they have the BIM models and drawings they need for construction. This position will be based on a jobsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Key Responsibilities

Creates 3D models of electrical building systems in Revit Creates 3D Navisworks models used for BIM coordination process Runs clash detection reports, resolves clashes, and participates in the BIM coordination process Prepares 2D installation drawings and prefabrication build sheets Creates Trimble point layouts required for accurate construction installation Updates models with as-built markups Coordinates with the field team for their 3D and 2D drawing needs and ensures they have the information they need in a timely manner Walks the project site with the field construction team and incorporates any feedback comments into the 3D model Participates in BIM coordination and progress meetings QA/QC review of 2D shop/installation drawings Follows established standards for modeling and production of drawings Your Character Traits

You have 5+ years experience in 3D BIM/VDC Modeling using Revit You have 5+ years experience in Construction/MEP background You have 5+ years experience in BIM coordination using Navisworks or other similar software You have 2+ years experience in managing teams Our Benefits
