We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Production Worker to join our team. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing processing equipment, handling sanitation chemicals, maintaining the facility, performing quality assurance tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures.
Responsibilities- Disassemble, clean, sanitize, and reassemble processing equipment.
- Prepare and handle sanitation chemicals and equipment.
- Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors, and other facility areas.
- Perform pre-operation swabbing and sampling as required.
- Complete daily/nightly cleaning checklists and document activities supporting food safety and quality assurance programs.
- Gather and dispose of debris and trash.
- Follow plant safety and food safety procedures, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
- Experience in a production environment.
- Understanding of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP).
- Sanitation experience.
- Familiarity with quality assurance processes.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based in a production environment. You will be working with various sanitation chemicals and equipment, following safety and food safety procedures. The work involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across the facility, including walls, floors, racking, and doors.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clifton, New Jersey.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00
