Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Cardiovascular Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge. Completion of a Cardiovascular Invasive program or equivalent experience. BLS required. ACLS may be required depending on assignment.Must have successfully passed the Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) exams. May require national certification, American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, and licensure by state regulatory agency if applicable.This position requires extensive clinical knowledge typically achieved with 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab in a hospital setting or meeting the requirements of certification board.
