Position Summary
The Managerof Business Services (Mgr, Business Services) will play a critical role insupporting the Director of Business Operations with budget development,strategic financial reporting, and the analysis of capital and equipmentcycling plans. This position involves close collaboration with leadership toensure effective financial planning and resource allocation aligned with campuspriorities.
Keyresponsibilities include managing most budget entries, overseeing the budgetingof special projects, developing new programmatic indices, as well as travel initiation. The Mgr, BusinessServices will also support compensation inquiries and reporting in partnershipwith HED. Additionally, this position will be responsible for verifying formulafunding and driving strategic financial changes that support the campus'smission and goals as set by the Chancellor, Advisory Board, and Provost.
Located about 30 miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia County, theUniversity of New Mexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of theUniversity of New Mexico which functions as a community college in the regionand is designated a Hispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teachingexcellence, Valencia Campus offers academic transfer programs, career andtechnical programs, Adult Basic Education, and Dual Credit High School/Collegecourses to Valencia and Socorro Counties. The faculty and staff serve a studentbody of over 2,00 students per semester.

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 7 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.

- Experience purchasing for grants and multiple departments with different priorities
- Experience managing a cashiering operation including working with student accounts and auxiliary operations
- Experience working as a part of a complex core business operations office at a branch campus including financial operations
- Experience withBanner, LoboMart, and Chrome River or similar software/platforms
