General Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct market research or work with market researchers to evaluate projects under contract
Establish a database of land development information, including contract information, geographic, topographical data, etc.
Develop and administer a master planning, scheduling, and tracking system to account for all land acquisition activities
Coordinate and assist project timelines and steward the creation of LD budgets for land books and finance use with Land Project Managers
Coordinate and manage feasibility studies
Coordinate and manage site plan approval process
Coordinate and communicate development stages and schedules required by municipalities to the VP of Land Operations
Distribute information and documents to government agencies, utilities, development contractors, and others outside the company
Maintain current records of all site plan approvals, approved graphics, engineering plans, permits, etc. per project
Manage land acquisition book process from initial contract to approval
Manage Land Associate Feasibility in their roles and duties
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent combination of education and experience
Track record of success in a similar position
Experience with and understanding of processes of the production homebuilding / land development industry
Skilled in negotiation techniques
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and follow-through ability
Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Project, Word, and Excel
Readily adaptable to rapid change in a high-stress environment while remaining calm and effective
Able to work with a flexible schedule that may require more than 40 hours work per week
