General Summary
Event Base Operator - Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Denver Coliseum
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Communicate and dispatch information for emergencies to 9+ departments according to established protocols. Answer inbound phone calls and provide appropriate resolution. Arrange settlement folders and manage all confidential documents. Reconcile event settlement with promoters. Assist event promoter with all show-related materials as requested. Perform camera operating functions for property security. Log lost and found items post event. Check in and log hours for all emergency personnel. Experience and Skills Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Attention to detail, excellent planning, organization, and time management skills. Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe. Capability to communicate with clients and the public using strong verbal and written skills. Ability to remain calm and focused during emergency situations. Multi-tasking and making correct decisions in a fast-paced environment. General knowledge of accounting principles. Maintains confidentiality. Professionalism while working in a concert environment. Working knowledge of ADA and its application to Red Rocks patrons.
Physical Demands of the Job Position requires 8 hours shifts 8am-4pm or 4pm - 1am. Position is at a desk in a communal office environment. Must be able to lift 20-40 pounds up 2 flights of stairs. Working Conditions
This position is indoors, consistent with a standard office environment and has a noise level of low to extremely loud, depending on the time of day. Business casual dress. Minimum Requirements:
HS diploma Must meet Argus Employment Standards City of Denver Unarmed Guard license (preferred)
