About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our team. As the Vice President of Finance, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of our non-profit organization in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry. Your major end result will be to ensure the financial stability and growth of the organization through strategic planning and execution, developing strategic profit models, measuring organizational performance, managing financial risk, and implementing financial governance. You will report directly to the CEO and work closely with other senior leaders to achieve the organization's goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Strong knowledge of non-profit administration, insurance claims, and financial governance.
Excellent problem-solving and strategic planning skills.
Proven ability to develop and implement strategic profit models and measure organizational performance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
CPA or CFA certification.
Experience in the Health Care and Social Assistance industry.
Experience managing financial risk and implementing strategic cost management.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all financial operations of the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting.
Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to ensure the financial stability and growth of the organization.
Provide leadership and guidance to the finance team, ensuring that all financial activities are in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with other senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that support the organization's goals and objectives.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including banks, auditors, and other financial institutions.
Skills:
As the Vice President of Finance, you will use your strong skills in non-profit administration, insurance claims, executive presence and leadership, strategic planning and execution, problem-solving, developing strategic profit models, measuring organizational performance, managing financial risk, financial governance, and strategic cost management on a daily basis. You will work closely with other senior leaders to develop and implement financial strategies and plans that support the organization's goals and objectives. Your ability to communicate effectively, build relationships, and manage stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.
