Job Overview
Crystal Bay Casino is seeking an attentive and customer-focused Cage Cashier to join our Casino Cage team. The Cage Cashier plays a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient front cage operations, delivering exceptional guest and employee service, and supporting organizational goals. Responsibilities include handling cash transactions, maintaining key control, managing ticket sales, and overseeing personal bank rolls, all while fostering a welcoming and professional environment.

This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to company policies and procedures, and a commitment to creating an outstanding guest experience.

Responsibilities

1. Guest and Employee Interaction:

  • Greet guests and employees at the window with a friendly and professional demeanor.

  • Provide accurate and efficient assistance with transactions and inquiries.

  • Promote a positive and energetic work environment.

2. Cage Operations:

  • Perform cash handling duties, including currency exchanges, cash-outs, and other monetary transactions.

  • Manage ticket sales and ensure accurate accounting.

  • Maintain key control and safeguard sensitive assets.

3. Administrative Support:

  • Answer and manage phone calls professionally and efficiently.

  • Follow all Title 31 requirements, including accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) and Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR).

  • Uphold company policies and department procedures.

4. Team Collaboration:

  • Coordinate efforts with other departments to ensure seamless operations.

  • Provide support for special projects or events as needed.


Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Extensive guest service experience required. Prior casino or bank cashiering experience preferred.Strong cash handling experience required.

  • Licensing: Must obtain and maintain a valid Nevada Gaming License

Skill, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the ability to address a variety of audiences.

  • Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Capable of working independently and managing time effectively.

  • Adaptable to change and able to manage frequent shifts, delays, or unexpected deadlines positively.

  • Dependable, responsive to feedback, and committed to quality work.

  • Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift and perform tasks requiring physical endurance.
