Job Description:

The Business Development Manager supports and retains key accounts, utilizing CRM systems (Luxor and RMS) to communicate and drive action steps for business relationships. They are responsible for adhering to the company's service level agreements and ensuring effective communication with key accounts regarding ongoing projects and upcoming events. Additionally, the Business Development Manager assists the overall Sales and Marketing Team and is expected to take on additional responsibilities over time, based on their desire, initiative, and performance. Compensation is evaluated on an annual basis in quarter 1 of each year after a full year is completed. Promotions and advancement within the position bring progressively greater challenge, learning & responsibility. The Business Development Manager reports to VP of Sales & Marketing.

Primary Duties:

  • Update CRM (Luxor and RMS) with accounts, vendors, and DRPs
  • Execute bi-weekly communications and drip campaigns
  • Coordinate meetings and presentations to build relationships
  • Support company's associations and key account retention
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations for positive client experiences
  • Grow residential accounts and recruit new key accounts
  • Set and communicate expectations with all parties
  • Assist with SLAs, onboarding, and training for new accounts
  • Manage Luxor and RMS software and follow sales budgets
  • Help achieve high Net Promoter Scores (NPS)
  • Support ERTPMs/RPMs with client expectations and documentation
  • Oversee overall client experience and build trust throughout projects
Secondary Duties:
  • Maintain a strong field presence while balancing administrative tasks
  • Participate in on-call rotation and Sales/Marketing events
  • Execute and manage Emergency Preparedness Plans for commercial accounts
  • Resolve complaints professionally and promptly
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build lasting relationships
  • Provide management feedback from field observations
  • Apply Priority Management principles to optimize scheduling
  • Attend bi-weekly Sales, Marketing, and GS&R meetings
  • Share Office365 calendar with supervisor
  • Follow company policies in the All-Team Handbook
High Level Job Responsibilities:
  • Join emergency services during 'All Hands-On Deck' scenarios
  • Engage in ongoing problem-solving and continuous improvement
  • Support on-site during losses to deliver top results
  • Participate in company social events, goal setting, team meetings, and other team engagement opportunities
Qualifications:
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Communications preferred
  • Experience in marketing, sales, and customer service
  • Highly organized with strong task prioritization skills
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, Luxor, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Dependable transportation and smartphone
  • Appropriate attire
  • Fun and outgoing personality
  • Able to lift 50 pounds and carry at least 20 feet
  • Able to climb two flights of stairs while carrying 30 pounds
Pay Structure:
  • $65,000 - $75,000 base pay, plus commission (potential up to $110,000 - $115,000)
  • Commissions are paid quarterly, plus a ramp-up guarantee through training
