Job DescriptionPurpose: We are seeking a hard-working, self-motivated individual to join our team at Mixed Employment Partners. Our goal is to foster a collaborative and diverse workforce where dedication and initiative drive excellence in achieving our organizational objectivesResponsibilities:Cleaning, sanding, and preparing surfaces (such as metal, wood, or concrete) to be painted. This may involve removing old paint, dirt, grease, or rust.Following instructions to mix paints, coatings, and primers to the correct consistency and color according to job specifications.Using brushes, rollers, spray guns, or other equipment to apply paints, varnishes, and coatings to surfaces with precision and attention to detail.Inspecting surfaces after painting to ensure a smooth finish, proper coverage, and adherence to quality standards.Cleaning and maintaining painting equipment and tools (such as brushes, rollers, spray guns) to ensure they remain in good working condition.Adhering to safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) to protect oneself and others from exposure to paint fumes, solvents, and other hazards.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Previous experience operating loader backhoes or front-end loaders is typically required.Knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, and coating materials.Familiarity with various types of paint application equipment (spray guns, brushes, rollers).Strong attention to detail and an eye for quality.Ability to work safely in various weather and environments.Good communication skills for coordinating tasks with team members.Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment
