Job Title: Heavy Equipment OperatorJob DescriptionThe ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating various asphalt machinery, including rollers, pavers, and mills. This position may require you to work on the ground with crew members. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient completion of road construction and maintenance projects.ResponsibilitiesOperate equipment safely and efficiently.Assist in preparing surfaces for asphalt application and removal with asphalt equipment.Apply and monitor the paving process, ensuring proper thickness and smoothness using pavers and rollers.Essential SkillsConstructionHeavy equipment operationSkid steerAsphalt pavingOperate paving equipment (skid steer, roller, paver, mill)BackhoeDozerExcavatorLoaderAdditional Skills & QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience operating asphalt rollers, pavers, skid steers, and milling machines.Strong knowledge of paving equipment and techniques.Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various weather conditions and stand or walk for extended periods.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Excellent communication skills and ability to work efficiently as a part of a team.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain one.CDL is a plus.Why Work Here?Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision offered after the first 90 days.
