We are looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of marketing experience with a strong focus on email. This role will report directly to the Marketing Manager and will be instrumental in cultivating and nurturing Asphalt Green's digital communities via email, website, and social media engagement. NOTE: A significant portion of the work will take place at the Major Owens Community Center in Brooklyn (1561 Bedford Avenue). We have a hybrid /flex work model (3 days in person, 2 days remote). For the in-person days, the Coordinator will primarily be situated at the Community Center with opportunities to work at the Upper East Side and/or our Battery Park City locations as needed. Digital MarketingExecute email marketing campaigns as per the strategy developed by the Marketing Manager.Support/execute email campaigns for the Community Center, including newsletters and community announcements.Regularly update and maintain Asphalt Green and MOCC websites to ensure content is accurate, current, and engaging.Generate creative assets to optimize messaging and storytelling across email, websites, and social media platforms.Assist the Social Media Manager by scheduling posts and creating engaging content for Asphalt Green and MOCC.Create and schedule social media content to promote MOCC events and initiatives, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and community engagement goals.Utilize digital marketing tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Canva, and Adobe Suite to manage campaigns, create visual content, and analyze data.Provide additional support for marketing initiatives as needed to meet organizational goals.Project ManagementAct as the primary marketing liaison for the Community Center, coordinating with the center's team and Asphalt Green to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to create marketing collateral focusing on community impact and free programming.Ensure all promotional activities comply with Asphalt Green's guidelines, avoiding conflicts with AG paid programs.Maintain strong coordination with MOCC stakeholders, serving as an on-site presence several times a month to build relationships and ensure effective communication.Reporting and AnalyticsReport and analyze performance metrics for campaigns to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.Track and report on digital marketing efforts specific to MOCC to align with deliverables and stakeholder goals.QualificationsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred.1-2 years of previous experience in a marketing role, with a preference for those with email marketing experience.Proficiency in Salesforce, HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Suite or similar platformsFamiliarity with website content management systems (CMS) such as WordPressFamiliar with using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT and Canva's built-in AI design generatorExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
