Must have: Active RN license ICU experience Procedures performed on unit: Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions Schedule Information

Number of Beds: 16 Patient Ratios: 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing Scheduling requirements: Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Schedule is done in 4 week increments. Self-scheduling to an extent. Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. Unit Specific Information

Unit staffing description: unit secretary staffed during dayshift. Occasional nurse extern working as a tech. Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000. Documentation system: Meditech Dress Code: Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms Advanced skills needed Certifications Required: ACLS, BLS Additional Details
