Senior Manager of US Visual Merchandising
Freelance - 35 hours/ week
6 months to start with potential to extend/ lead to Full Time
Hybrid Remote / On Site 3 days per week in NYC Office
Pay: $65 - 73/hr (DOE)
Senior Manager of Visual Merchandising (Beauty) Overview The Senior Manager of Visual Merchandising will be responsible for the overall management of our retail business, with responsibility for the creative, technical and logistical elements. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated multi-tasker, with a strong eye for design & detail who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Senior Manager of Visual Merchandising (Beauty) Responsibilities
• Adapt and execute global Visual Merchandising concept guidelines to the US market • Liaise with diverse teams of vendors, marketing, and Global VM team for approvals and directives to ensure alignment. • Develop and maintain Retailer and Vendor relationships. • Create 3D renderings and design development drawings for bidding • Review mechanical/engineering drawings and pre-production prototypes to ensure alignment with design intent • Create all print ready mechanicals • Create 3D planograms to support retail display strategies • Work closely with the store design team on new store openings and lead in-store merchandising efforts
Senior Manager of Visual Merchandising (Beauty) Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Industrial Design, Graphic Design or Interior Design • 5+ years of visual merchandising experience in beauty with a focus on luxury department stores • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to brand standards. • Strong knowledge of Adobe Suite and Sketchup • Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to harmonize information quickly and effectively.
