Job Summary:
We are seeking a Project/Program Manager Associate with Health Plan experience to support the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects within the organization. This role will involve utilizing project management methodologies to track progress, monitor milestones, and communicate project status to stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in project management, business process improvement, and conflict resolution, with a focus on achieving project goals within budget and timeline constraints.
Key Responsibilities: Utilize project management methodologies to plan project timelines, milestones, and track progress. Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals. Recommend effective business process improvement initiatives and support their implementation across the organization. Communicate regularly with stakeholders and team members to ensure cooperation on all tasks, issues, and projects. Manage and resolve conflicts through effective communication and collaborative resolution methods. Propose solutions to business problems/issues using appropriate analysis tools such as Cost/Benefit Analysis and Flowcharting. Assist senior management with special assignments, including budget preparation, operating plans, and financial forecasts. Oversee daily implementation of projects, ensuring timeframes, budget requirements, and quality standards are met. Ensure alignment with company goals, track performance results, and drive successful project outcomes. Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or advanced degree if required) in a related field. 0-2 years of experience in a related project management or program management role. In lieu of a degree, 3+ years of experience in a related field may be considered. Health Plan experience required to understand the context and needs of the business. Strong proficiency in project management tools and methodologies. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across teams and manage stakeholder expectations. Ability to propose solutions to business issues using analysis tools such as Cost/Benefit Analysis and Flowcharting. Solid understanding of budget management and financial forecasting for project needs. Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with healthcare industry project management best practices and regulations. Experience with agile methodologies or scrum for managing projects and workflows. Prior experience working with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Certifications (if any):
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or other Agile certifications are beneficial.
