Creative Director (Skincare)
Temp to Perm - will convert to Full Time if all goes well (have the headcount/ approval).
Hybrid Remote/ On Site 3 days per week in NYC Office.
Salary: $175k - $185k (may have flexibility for the right candidate)
Creative Director Responsibilities
• Ownthe visual identity for the company. • Managing the end-to-end creative process. You direct the production of all creative assets-from conception to final approval-ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and of the highest quality. • Ensure excellence in concept, design, and execution. • Leadthe Design department. You provide day-to-day coaching and mentorship to your team of Designers, fostering their emerging talent and building their skillset. • Manage the workflow and workload of the team, allocating resources and support where needed. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to create cohesive visual storytelling and to ensure strategic implementation of brand look + feel. • Act as main point-of-contacton all packaging design changes, providing direction and feedback on any changes to containers, labels, and secondary packaging. • You stay up-to-date with industry + consumer trends, regularly identifying new opportunities and innovations for the company'screative strategy.
Creative Director Requirements
• BFA or BA in graphic design, advertising, or relevant field • 10+ years of professional design experience in beauty either in-house or agency; skincare brand experience strongly preferred • 4+ years managing a team • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) • Deep understanding of + passion for the skincare industry • Extremely detail-oriented, able to keep up with a diverse to-do list • Outstanding time management skills. Able to juggle multiple priorities at once • Able to commute to the NYC office 3 days per week
