Role: Data QA Engineer (ETL) Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented Data QA Engineer to ensure the quality, integrity, and accuracy of data across our ETL processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with data engineers and analysts to define and validate data quality requirements, ensuring alignment with business rules and project objectives. Key Responsibilities: Test Plan Development and Execution: • Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across ETL pipelines. • Identify data quality issues, inconsistencies, or discrepancies, and document findings clearly for resolution. Collaboration and Requirements Gathering: • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define and document data quality requirements. • Ensure data quality validations align with business rules and project specifications. Automated testing and Validation: • Develop and implement automated testing frameworks to streamline data quality checks. • Perform regression testing to ensure that changes in ETL processes do not negatively impact data quality. Data Quality Monitoring: • Establish and maintain monitoring tools or dashboards to track data quality metrics. • Proactively identify patterns or trends indicating potential data issues.
