Mount Indie is hiring a Contracts Management Specialist to join a locally headquartered prime contractor in providing support to its Navy customer. Your contributions will play a vital role in ensuring the successful accomplishment of the program's mission requirements. This is a hybrid role with at least 3 days onsite per week at the government facilities in Old Town, working closely with colleagues and collaborating effectively with the client as needed. An active security clearance is required for this role along with a track record of three to five years of relevant contracts management experience within a program management office.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide contract management support for PMW 750 resulting in the successful accomplishment of mission requirements to the operations and sustainment phase. This requirement involves supporting CORs and Assistant Program Managers for Contracts (APM-Cs) to facilitate communication between PMW 750/and NAVWAR. Provide contract management support for PMW 750/760 resulting in the successful accomplishment of mission requirements to the operations and sustainment phase. Supporting CORs and Assistant Program Managers for Contracts (APM-Cs) to facilitate communication between PMW 750 and NAVWAR. Provide acquisition planning and procurement documentation preparation support. Examples of support functions include drafting, coordinating inputs, and providing recommendations for procurement documentation, to include the following -- just to name a few: a) Specifications and standards
b) Performance measures
c) Technical Data Packages (TDPs)
d) Requests for Information (RFIs)
e) Requests for Proposal (RFPs),
f) Fair Opportunity Proposal Requests (FOPRs)
g) Synopsis and/or Sources Sought.
h) Acquisition Strategies / Acquisition Plans
Minimum Requirements:
Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher Bachelor's Degree Required 3+ years of experience providing program management or contract management services within a program management office (PMO). 3+ years of comprehensive and increasing experience with DoD contract management; including contract and procurement planning, pre-award documentation preparation, price and cost analyses, post-award contract administration support, and contracts closeout in a government or client support role. Knowledge of the application of the following: Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS), Navy Marine Corps Acquisition Regulation Supplement (NMCARS), and DoD 5000 series regulations and laws, including executive orders, statutes, policies, principles of acquisition planning, and requirements to the contracting process necessary to accomplish assigned duties. Experience delivering thorough contractual advice to a government client, including researching, analyzing, and interpreting complex acquisition rules and regulations and providing actionable recommendations to government clients and senior government officials. Experience with the complete Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. Experience with Power BI, Project Online, SharePoint, Dashboards Extensive reporting experience using spreadsheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint Acumen. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Desired Skills:
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II Certification in Contracting, Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM), or Contracts Management. Experience with Navy contracting procedures and regulations.
