Job Summary
The Scrum Master will play a key role in guiding and coaching teams in Agile practices to ensure the successful delivery of projects. This role involves implementing Agile techniques, fostering collaboration, and ensuring teams meet sprint and release goals while maturing in Agile practices. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and tools, as well as the ability to work in diverse environments and scaled Agile settings.
Key Responsibilities
• Implement Agile techniques across projects of varying sizes and complexities in different cultural and environmental settings.
• Coach new and existing teams in Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban best practices to enhance team performance.
• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Guide teams to meet sprint and release goals while maturing in Agile practices.
• Support teams in Test-Driven Development and Continuous Testing & Integration.
• Promote Agile practices in scaled Agile environments, such as SAFe.
• Utilize Agile tools like JIRA, AgileCraft, VersionOne, or TFS to track and manage project progress.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure alignment with Agile principles.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within teams and across the organization.
Required Qualifications
• 4-6 years of Agile coaching or Scrum Master experience.
• Deep knowledge of Scrum roles and ceremonies.
• Hands-on experience in Agile Scrum methodology and working with Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with Kanban, Scrumban, and Test-Driven Development.
• Experience in scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe).
• Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA, AgileCraft, VersionOne, or TFS.
• Strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Certified Scrum Coach (CSC), or Certified Agile Coach
(PMI-ACP, ICA-ACC).
• Experience in product development.
